Whether veterans or their partners need employment, emergency financial aid, online health and wellbeing resources or family social connection activities, our award-winning services and partner programs deliver real, lasting outcomes.We're now seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead the next phase of our Employer Partnerships Team, within the greater Vocational Program.
This role is pivotal in shaping meaningful employment pathways for veterans and partners—often beyond traditional roles—by:Engaging and partnering with employers nationally to source and co-create tailored employment opportunities for our clientsEducating employers on the unique value veterans and their partners bring to the workforceBuilding strong networks and community relationships to expand our reach and impactDeveloping a program framework and business processes to ensure a consistent and professional service is provided to employers, stakeholders and clientsCollaborating with internal specialists to identify, secure, and nurture employer partnerships across diverse sectorsThis is more than a placement role—it's about creating long-term, sustainable pathways and transforming how industry connects with veteran talent.Qualifications and RequirementsA collaborative mindset and strong team orientation, with a genuine commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their familiesProven ability to take initiative, drive results, and self-motivate, especially in dynamic and evolving environmentsConfidence in networking and building a strong presence across the Defence and Veteran community, including the ability to educate and influence employers and industryDepth of experience in business development/stakeholder and customer relationship management, with a strategic approach to creating non-traditional employment pathwaysAbility to develop, document and continually improve business processes to enhance the client experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal specialists and external stakeholdersA focus on quality stakeholder/client case management and recordkeepingUnderstanding of the ADF environment and its unique sensitivities, ensuring culturally informed engagementFlexibility to work across broad geographical areas, including intra- and interstate travelAvailability to participate in events and forums outside standard hours, including weekends when requiredA completed tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or a related fieldA current, unrestricted driver's licenceExperience within the Defence or community sector will make your application even more competitiveBenefitsOption to salary package up to $15,900 per year on living expenses, and claim further tax-saving benefits on topExtensive training/development opportunitiesBenefits Hub that includes lifestyle discountsEmbracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
