Brisbane, Queensland, Australia RSL Queensland Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families.

Whether veterans or their partners need employment, emergency financial aid, online health and wellbeing resources or family social connection activities, our award-winning services and partner programs deliver real, lasting outcomes.

We're now seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to lead the next phase of our Employer Partnerships Team, within the greater Vocational Program. This role is pivotal in shaping meaningful employment pathways for veterans and partners—often beyond traditional roles—by:

  • Engaging and partnering with employers nationally to source and co-create tailored employment opportunities for our clients
  • Educating employers on the unique value veterans and their partners bring to the workforce
  • Building strong networks and community relationships to expand our reach and impact
  • Developing a program framework and business processes to ensure a consistent and professional service is provided to employers, stakeholders and clients
  • Collaborating with internal specialists to identify, secure, and nurture employer partnerships across diverse sectors

This is more than a placement role—it's about creating long-term, sustainable pathways and transforming how industry connects with veteran talent.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A collaborative mindset and strong team orientation, with a genuine commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their families
  • Proven ability to take initiative, drive results, and self-motivate, especially in dynamic and evolving environments
  • Confidence in networking and building a strong presence across the Defence and Veteran community, including the ability to educate and influence employers and industry
  • Depth of experience in business development/stakeholder and customer relationship management, with a strategic approach to creating non-traditional employment pathways
  • Ability to develop, document and continually improve business processes to enhance the client experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal specialists and external stakeholders
  • A focus on quality stakeholder/client case management and recordkeeping
  • Understanding of the ADF environment and its unique sensitivities, ensuring culturally informed engagement
  • Flexibility to work across broad geographical areas, including intra- and interstate travel
  • Availability to participate in events and forums outside standard hours, including weekends when required
  • A completed tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or a related field
  • A current, unrestricted driver's licence

Experience within the Defence or community sector will make your application even more competitive.

Why work at RSL Queensland. Open, flexible, supportive, empowering - they're some of things our team love most about RSL Queensland.

What else makes us great:

  • Option to salary package up to $15,900 per year on living expenses, and claim further tax-saving benefits on top
  • Extensive training/development opportunities
  • Benefits Hub that includes lifestyle discounts

Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need. If this is an opportunity that excites you, please apply today. Applications close at 9am 11 September 2025.
