This role is well suited to a Quantitative Analyst with an interest in Energy Markets, bringing 2-4 years of relevant career experience. Working in a high performing Risk team, this role will offer unrivalled exposure and future career growth.

The Quantitative Risk Analyst will ensure all risk models and reports are maintained and will assist in the development of modelling capability, work on bespoke & structured transactions integration into systems, and improving risk reporting while maintaining high standards for development and processes.

Key responsibilities will include;
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the existing market simulation engine, ensuring daily, monthly, and ad-hoc simulation runs are executed to support both operational & shareholder risk reporting.
- Contributing to market modelling development, recommending solutions to increase performance, developing new functionality and system enhancements.
- Monitor and report on any issues & challenges related to trading activities, risk management, and risk systems.
- Support the evaluation & analysis of new products and structured transactions.
- Perform ad-hoc data management & solutions to support management and shareholder queries as required.
- Perform risk control processes including daily portfolio checks and reporting, market reviews, market/credit checks, and risk transaction reviews.
- Support risk management committee meetings.

**About You**
This position is well suited to a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst with a minimum of two years experience, with relevant experience in statistical modelling techniques, R, & SQL. Experience in energy or financial markets is beneficial, but by no means required - the hiring manager is very open on industry background, as long as strong analytical abilities & intrapersonal skills can be displayed.
