Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing credit risk models that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development, validation, and monitoring of credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, scorecards, and rating models)
* Ensure models meet regulatory and internal governance standards (e.g. IFRS9, Basel, APRA)
* Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, finance, and business units to embed models into decision-making processes
* Build and maintain automated tools and dashboards for model performance tracking and reporting
* Contribute to regulatory submissions and respond to audit and assurance reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Deep understanding of credit risk modelling techniques and regulatory frameworks (IFRS9, Basel, APRA)
* Proficiency in R, SAS, Python, SQL, and Excel
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Intermediate to advanced data visualisation (R, Python or Power BI) and story-telling skills
* Bachelor or postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Data Science, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Engineering)
