Job Title: Quantitative Risk AnalystWe are seeking a skilled Quantitative Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing risks across various portfolios.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have autonomy and ownership over your work, and the chance to create enhancements that add tangible value to the business.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Design, build and enhance portfolio monitoring analytics to support a deep understanding of portfolio performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Carry out comprehensive portfolio reviews and prepare stakeholder reports, suggesting rate and portfolio actions designed to meet stakeholder and customer needs.
  • Develop, implement and enhance technical actuarial models using best practice and innovative techniques.
  • Challenge existing processes and lead change to streamline, innovate and automate.
  • Collaborate closely with business intelligence and IT teams to manage actuarial requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics or similar field.
  • A strong customer focus, work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using statistical software (e.g. R) and programming languages (e.g. Python).
