Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring seamless operations and support for the General Manager. These include:
**Coordinating day-to-day activities**: You will be responsible for managing communications, briefings, and requests for the General Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly within the fast-paced environment of PDO.
**Maintaining efficient time management practices**: Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing briefing materials will be integral to your role.
Timely distribution of meeting actions/minutes and follow-up on tasks will also fall within your purview.
**Undertaking research**: Assisting the General Manager in preparing correspondence and documents will require you to conduct thorough research to provide accurate and relevant information.
**Analysing and disseminating information**: You will play a crucial role in interpreting and disseminating information and requests to ensure that staff are well
- informed about current and emerging issues affecting PDO's operations.
**Proactively addressing issues**: Anticipating and addressing matters that do not require the General Manager's direct attention will be part of your responsibilities. Your ability to research, assess impact, and provide suitable responses promptly will contribute to efficient decision-making within PDO.
**Building strong relationships**: Developing, maintaining, and fostering strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external clients is essential. Additionally, you will represent the General Manager in a professional manner, enhancing PDO's reputation and credibility.
**Supporting document management systems**: Maintaining and supporting document management systems, including tracking, integrity, and security of files, documents, and correspondence, will ensure corporate standards are adhered to and information is managed effectively.
