Reporting directly to the Station Manager, your goal will be to ensure optimal plant performance, safety compliance, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.Who we areWorley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.

Guided by our vision – working together to deliver a sustainable and low-carbon energy future – Worley Power Services is a leading asset management partner for complex and critical infrastructure.Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.What you'll doLead, manage and develop operation teams.Oversee all aspects of the plant operations.Drive efficiency improvements and plant performance optimisation.Deliver operational and contractual targets effectively within agreed budgets.Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standards.Collaborate with other teams to deliver seamless and reliable power generation.Assist with outage planning, execution, and recovery processes.Assist with operational budgets preparation and manage cost control initiatives.What you'll haveSignificant previous experience within the Power generation industry.Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field) or relevant trade qualification.Deep technical understanding of thermal power generation processes and systems.Previous experience in a senior operations or plant management role.Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.Excellent knowledge of operational safety, environmental, and compliance standards.Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Reside locally within a 1 hour drive of Collie Power Station.Why you should applyJoin a fun and inclusive, global team of professionals.Enjoy a varied & challenging role.ASX listed global energy leader.A supportive and collaborative team.Opportunities for personal and professional development and career growth.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
