We are opening up a new location in Australia, which means we are looking for inspired engineers to grow our Infrastructure team.
Crafty Apes invests in its technological advancements and constantly seeks to improve our infrastructure to support all Crafty artists around the world in achieving great visual results.
We are looking to add a mid to senior-level Pipeline Developer to our global Infrastructure team and are interested in candidates who want to be part of taking Crafty Apes to the next level.
We value critical thinkers, creative problem solvers, and team players.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe role entails designing, developing, and maintaining scalable pipeline solutions, leading tool implementation, and resolving pipeline issues.It also includes mentoring junior staff and ensuring integration across DCC applications.Must have experience in pipeline TD roles, expert Python skills, proficiency in Maya, Houdini, Nuke, version control, and asset management systems.Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities are essential.REQUIREMENTSProven experience as a Pipeline TD in visual effects or a related industry.Expert proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.Strong knowledge of 3D tools, with expertise in Maya (Houdini and Nuke experience is a plus).
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and asset management systems.Experience building and maintaining readable APIs.Hands-on experience with asset management systems, such as ShotGrid/Flow.Familiarity with pipeline tools like Rez and Deadline.Strong understanding of Windows and Linux environments.Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.Crafty Apes LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Thank you for your interest in joining the Crafty Apes team.
