About the roleReporting to the General Manager Residential Care, you will provide high quality, professional administrative support to the General Manager and the Clinical Management Team in the Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) at our Glynde site.
The Administration Officer role is busy, but so rewarding. When you work with a good team toward the quality of life for our older and retired community, you feel valued, and truly happy with your contribution.
About youYou are a role model, supporting and affirming the service excellence culture, vision and mission of LHI. You lead by example and will be able to identify and participate in opportunities for improvement in the delivery of services to our Residents, and contribute to the LHI Continuous Improvement process.
Your communication skills, both written and verbal will be highly valued, along with the ability to work autonomously.
You are an upbeat and positive person with excellent administration skills who is able to build strong professional relationships with numerous stakeholders, for example, Residents and their families, team members and other staff whilst ensuring a high level of service is provided.
It would be terrific if you had previous experience in Aged Care, but we know administrative skills are transferrable, and if you are willing we are keen to meet you.
Essential criteria
- High level of competence with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Able to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Experienced in working as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work unsupervised
- Demonstrates respect and confidentiality
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Able to manage pressure and competing demands
- Current NDIS Worker Check / National Police Check or ability to gain
- Empathy with the Christian Philosophy of LHI
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current COVID and Flu vaccinations
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.
