J&D Contracting are one of the most highly respected construction companies based in Brisbane. We provide a complete range of services for our clients, from building and maintenance services to repairs for residential dwellings, units, townhouses, and commercial buildings throughout the greater Brisbane region.

**What you will be doing**:
The Fleet and Asset Coordinator is a varied and fast-paced role, supporting our team of tradespeople, by maintaining our fleet of Vehicles, Tools, Plant, Safety Equipment (PPE).

Fundamental to this role is your planning and coordinating skills, high level of attention to detail, and ability to work with mínimal supervision in an expedient and efficient manner to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards without compromising safety.

Key duties:

- Ensure all fleet and vehicles are within service dates, keeping accurate records of maintenance and compliance
- Schedule vehicle repairs and routine vehicle maintenance with the approved providers
- Drop off and pick up vehicles and equipment as required
- Reporting and scheduling repairs and maintenance when required
- Management of asset register, tools, plant, and personal protection equipment
- Replacement of assets as identified/required
- Validate existing asset data and location information where applicable
- Undertake high-level condition assessment of assets
- Establish sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Vehicle set up, loading of tools and equipment for changeovers
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders and resolve basic invoicing and receipting issues

**What are we looking for?**

Someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.

Ideally you have:

- Valid Manual Driver's License
- General vehicle knowledge
- General Trade knowledge, highly regarded but not essential
- Experience maintaining asset register and stock control, audits
- Positive attitude with an excellent level of service delivery and stakeholder management
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate ability to pick up other databases/systems is also required
- Data entry
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexible attitude with an ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
