Job Title: Health and Wellbeing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our health and wellbeing strategy, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective wellbeing systems, working closely with senior leaders to embed organisational values and goals.

  • This includes developing and executing a prevention-based wellbeing strategy, managing complex case management, and providing proactive advice to resolve employee cases.
  • You will also be responsible for championing wellbeing as shared leadership responsibilities across the organisation, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership and governance forums.
Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a contemporary, prevention-based wellbeing strategy aligned with organisational goals and values.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of best practice health, safety, and psychosocial risk management systems.
  • Manage work and non-work related illness or injury employee cases and provide proactive advice to resolve cases that reach a mutually agreeable outcome for the organisation and the employee.
  • Champion wellbeing, health and safety as shared leadership responsibilities across the organisation.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership and governance forums.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in health and wellbeing, preferably with experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and provide proactive advice.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
