**Cloud Operations Manager**

**$230,000 inc super**

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our client's IT landscape by bringing your Public Cloud expertise and communication/stakeholder engagement skills to drive the newly established Cloud Platform out to the wider business.

As a Cloud Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the monitoring, reporting and DevOps practices are well established to uphold and service the Cloud platforms and products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage shared cloud capabilities using a service catalogue and templates.
- Develop a cloud observability framework to enhance visibility of cloud platforms and workloads, providing crucial insights.
- Monitor and report on the operational status of Cloud Platforms, Products and SaaS services to deliver on SLAs.
- Optimize toolsets, ensuring compliance of all cloud workloads.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering Team and key stakeholders to ensure cloud optimisation opportunities are fully realised.

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Demonstrated experience developing and sustaining cloud platform management practices, prioritizing optimisation for cost, security, performance, and availability.
- Expertise managing cloud risks with efficiency, safeguarding operations effectively.
- Strong collaborative skills, ensuring the delivery of business outcomes across internal and external stakeholders and senior management engagement.
- Extensive experience working in a similar position within a large complex environment with proven experience leading a technical team.
