Cloud Operations LeaderAbout the RoleThe Cloud Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of cloud infrastructure, ensuring system availability and data security.This role will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless system integration.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage private cloud environments including architecture, development, deployment, optimization and operational support.
  • Lead a team of engineers globally to ensure smooth operation of private cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain private cloud infrastructure's availability, performance and security.
  • Develop procedures and processes to ensure reliability, scalability and efficiency of private cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other teams to plan, design and implement new private cloud solutions or features.
  • Create and maintain documentation and reports related to private cloud infrastructure's performance, security and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality services.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve private cloud infrastructure's performance and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills and QualificationsProven experience in a similar role with strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of engineers globally. At least 8 years of experience in private cloud operations or related roles with strong knowledge of private cloud platform technologies.You will also have:
  • proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT operations teams in complex and dynamic environments requiring 24/7 support.
  • experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Puppet or Terraform.
  • customer focus and business understanding with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
