**About the opportunity**

A leader in the Cloud Engineering Team, ensuring the Monitoring, Observability, Reporting and DevOps/Automation practices are in place to underpin and support Australia Posts Cloud Platforms and Products. An important part of the Cloud Engineering Team, responsible for ensuring overall Strategy of the Cloud Engineering Team is aligned with Post 26 objectives.

The Cloud Operations Manager will ensure maximum value and efficiencies are being delivered by our partners and also partake in Go to Market activities keeping in mind Strategic goals.

**You'll also**
- Establish and run shared Cloud Capabilities and Codified Patterns via a Service Catalog and Templates.
- Be responsible for establishment of a Cloud Observability Framework to ensure Peak visibility of Cloud Platforms and Workloads to provide key Business and Technical Insights.
- Monitor and Report on Cloud Platforms, Products and SaaS services to ensure services are Operational to agreed SLAs and contracts.
- Ensure toolsets are optimised to ensure all Cloud Workloads internal and external (SaaS) are compliant.
- Work with Internal Stakeholders to ensure the value and mindset of a Cloud first adoption is realised and with External Vendors and Partners to ensure maximum value is realised and delivered for Australia Post.

**About you**
- Proven experience in a similar role, within a similar sized organisation, with proven ability to navigate complex corporate environments.
- Experience with GCP, Microsoft Azure, AWS based cloud platforms, including managing vendors.
- Proven experience building and maintaining cloud platform management practices to continually optimise for cost, security, performance and availability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Internal and External Stakeholders to deliver quality business outcomes.
- Ability to manage Cloud Risks in a timely, efficient and proactive manner.

You will have exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with experience working with extended teams including those outside of direct reporting structures.
