Capstone are recruiting an 'Economics Lead' for an established private consultancy firm in Sydney, who specialise in Economics, Finance and Market Research.
Full-time, Permanent role Competitive total remuneration package Newly created role within their Sydney CBD office Flexible working arrangement is available The Organisation This specialist consultancy firm has a medium sized team of high performing professionals across the disciplines of economics, finance, market research and visual communications.
Providing evidence-based solutions, insight, advice and creativity that sustainably shape the future of the communities, cities, and regions in which we live and work.
The team primarily work across the following areas: Energy & Infrastructure, Local Government, Natural Resources & Agriculture, Property, Natural Resources & Climate Change, Social & Community Services and Tourism.
The work completed typically includes economic & financial analysis across: General business case writing to support investment (for private & government sector clients) Asset due diligence for clients purchasing businesses/enterprises (M&A activity) Operational optimisation for said purchases The assessment of major projects and infrastructure: airports, property, mines, dams, rail, roads, tourism, agriculture and regional investment.
Demand & other economic analysis to support the above The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious and diligent 'Economics Portfolio Leader' to work hand-in-hand with the CEO, Portfolio Leaders and senior team members to drive revenue generation, lead and support growth of market share for the organisation.
The role will include a balance of client interaction, business development, revenue generation, project management/delivery, plus potentially creating a team beneath you.
About You The 'Economics Lead' would be suited to a motivated individual with exceptional networking and relationship building skills.
You will hold degree level qualifications in Economics, Business, Commerce or related field.
