Open 8am-12pm every day (11pm on Sundays), our guests can pop in any time for drinks, nibbles, or for a flutter in our new gaming room. Or, stay the night at one of our comfy rooms only 20 minutes from the Hobart CBD.

**What you can expect in a day in the role**:
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be expected to be hands-on with the daily operations, including gaming, accommodation, food and beverage across the Hotel. You'll lead and manage a close-knit team during your shift, always ensuring exceptional customer service while fostering strong relationships within the community.

Your duties will include, but not limited to;
- Lead the on shift team to provide memorable customer service and experience
- Ensure health, safety, gaming and hotel operations procedures are followed
- Assist with staff scheduling and break management in coordination with the Hotel Manager
- Assisting with handling complaints and issues, as required

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Demonstrated practical experience in the delivery of quality customer service, preferably in the areas of food and beverage, and gaming
- Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Well-rounded, current gaming knowledge, and applied knowledge of relevant legislation/regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
- Availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificates, or the ability to obtain.
