**About the role**

The Douglas Club is an intimate cocktail bar in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. Set in a heritage listed building, The Douglas Club will merge the luxury and glamour from the 1930's golden age of travel with modern design and technology.

**What will I be doing?**
- Be operationally hands on and led by example.
- Create and serve a wide range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
- Contribute to menu content, assist with developing menu changes, and promotional activities
- Keep the service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
- Efficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts
- Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous experience within a high end cocktail bar
- Knowledge and ability to create classic cocktails
- Flexibility in hours as you will be working rostered shifts, especially on weekends
- Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service

**Hourly Rates**:
**Monday - Friday **$24.76
**Monday - Friday after 7pm ** $27.24
**Saturday ** $30.95
**Sunday **$43.33

**Salary**: $24.76 - $43.33 per hour
