EVENTS ARE BACK We are recruiting for one of the market leaders in the Event Hire industry in Victoria

A family-owned business, they work on some of Victoria's biggest commercial events, including Australian Open and Grand Prix, as well as domestic events.

**_The role _**

They are looking for a **Leading Hand**, to join their team. Based in Dandenong, day-to-day you will be a leading member of their team. You will instruct, pick, check and prepare items for customer events and load the items onto trucks,, or you will be onsite leading the team for installation of commercial marquees and equipment, - this position offers variety

**You will be**
- Ensuring marquee requirements are picked and packed for install
- Managing the installation process on a variety of high-end projects situated in and around Melbourne
- Work both independently & managing a team of installers as required
- Liaise with site contacts & clients during the installation process
- reporting as required.

**About you**:

- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Be motivated, with the ability to manage and drive teams to complete tasks
- Have a forklift licence
- Have a MR truck licence (ideally)
- Background in events or warehousing / logistics/ installations

**_The Skills and Experience_**
- Be hands on with a variety of installation works
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meet the scheduled project outcomes
- Motivate and Monitor staff to get the job done on time and with high quality
- Follow all company procedures and OHS requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised on site
- Excellent attention to detail & communication skills
- White Card
- Forklift licence
- Current Driver's license / MR Truck licence
