A Tier 2 civil contractor based in Melbourne, is seeking a skilled Leading Hand to assist with the delivery of various subdivision and infrastructure projects in the North and West regions of Victoria.
In addition to your hands-on experience in construction, you should also have good administrative ability and a solid understanding of occupational health and safety in the workplace.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in civil earthworks and road construction, preferably in the Victorian market.
- Hold both "C" and "HR" drivers licenses and a construction safety awareness card.
- Supervising a team of skilled workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify any potential safety hazards or quality issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and timesheets.
As a Leading Hand, you will be offered an attractive salary of between $80-$100k + super, with a car and fuel card provided.
