**JOB PURPOSE**

This role will provide general finance support inclusive of day-to-day NDIS finance functions and generalist financial related administration tasks such as the billing and collections, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and general administration duties where required. The role will also provide support to NDIS participants and carers for NDIS plan management services.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Deliver plan management services to participants - Receive and process participant invoices in line with service agreements. Reconcile payments received from NDIS and attend to enquiries regarding invoices and payments
- General Ledger Reconciliation - Ensure that general ledgers are reconciled and end of month procedures are completed accurately and on time.
- Reconcile and process invoices and statements for follow up - Generate daily and weekly invoices. Follow up outstanding invoices, maintain master files and respond to enquiries.
- Act as the Payroll Officer - Administer the payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees, including wage calculations, tax deductions and compliance with relevant regulations in support of the Operations Manager.
- Reconcile and process purchase orders and invoices - Accounts payable are processed and followed up within an established timeline.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE**

**Qualifications**: CERT IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping

**Licences**: Valid Victorian Drivers License

**Computer Knowledge**: Basic knowledge of Computers and Mobile Phones ; Proficiency in accounting and payroll software - MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Communication Skills**: Good spoken and written communication

**Experience**: Minimum 1 year experience in an accounts officer or similar role, preferably within the NDIS sector or healthcare.

**Other Skills & Elements**:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including payroll processing.

**Checks Required**:
Police Check, NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children's Check

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 22 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
