Microgrid Solutions Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Microgrid Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing cost-effective, reliable, and sustainable microgrid solutions for our clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and configure microgrid systems and related SCADA solutions to meet client requirements.
Utilize technical expertise across solar, batteries, storage, generators, renewable energy sources, and emerging technologies.
Conduct site visits for requirement assessments, installations, testing, commissioning, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure technical standards and project goals are met.
Leverage software, services, and related products to deliver innovative solutions.
Interpret and apply relevant standards and legacy protocols while adhering to project plans.
Occasional site travel to support client requirements may be required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with knowledge/experience in Renewable Energy or Power Systems.
Hands-on experience in a similar Project Engineering role focused on Microgrids or Renewable Energy.
Technical background in PLC/SCADA systems, coding, and Modbus.
Strong communication skills and confidence in customer engagement, especially on-site.
Problem-solving mindset, analytical approach, and project management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks.
