Based in Macquarie Park (Sydney), you will be a key member of our Digital Power Application Centre, providing Microgrid solutions that are cost-effective, reliable and sustainable for our customers.
You will work in an environment that mixes office time with on-site customer engagements, with flexible hybrid working arrangements in a truly global organisation.This exciting career opportunity will see you:Play a central role in the design, configuration and optimisation of Microgrid systems and related SCADA solutions to provide customers with reliable and optimised energy managementUtilise your technical experience across solar, batteries, storage, generators, renewable energy sources and other emerging technologiesConduct site visits for requirements assessments, installations, testing, commissioning and performance analysisCollaborate with Project Managers and other internal stakeholders (some based outside of Australia) to meet technical standards and project goalsLeverage Schneider software, services and related productsInterpret and apply relevant standards and legacy protocols in accordance with project plansTravel on local and national sites as required to support customer requirementsResponsibilities & Qualifications Our ideal candidate will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with Renewable Energy or Power Systems experience (e.g., solar, battery storage, diesel generators)Hands-on experience in a similar Project Engineering role focused on Microgrids or Renewable EnergyTechnical background in PLC/SCADA, coding and ModbusStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with customers on siteProblem-solving, analytical approach and project management capabilitiesAbility to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasksOther requirementsAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and provide documented evidence if selected for interviewSchneider Electric does not accept unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles from external agencies or suppliers.
