Our organization is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the development of cloud-based data platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality architectures that meet business and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate proposed high-level architecture to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Configure and manage Azure resources to support data engineering workflows.
Setup and configure Git repositories for collaborative development.
Validate and enforce security best practices across the data platform.
Implement dbt Core infrastructure, including Azure Container Registry (ACR) and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
Establish DevOps pipelines for deploying and managing dbt docker images.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical expertise and advisory experience, with the ability to work independently within tight timelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect designing and implementing cloud data architectures.
Strong expertise with Azure cloud services, resource configuration, and security best practices.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with dbt Core deployments in cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Fabric.
Solid understanding of DevOps pipelines, dockerisation, and source control management (Git).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to provide advisory and training support to development teams.
