Lead Data Strategist

The role of Lead Data Strategist is a critical component in our organisation's mission to drive business success through data-driven decision making. This position plays a key role in developing and executing data strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data strategies that drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making across the organisation.
  • Design and develop cloud-native, event-driven microservices to support data transformation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain advanced SQL and database skills to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data and AI to recommend optimal solutions for our clients.
Requirements:
  • 6 years experience in data and/or software engineering, with hands-on experience in Python, Java or other backend technologies.
  • Advanced SQL and database skills, with expertise in database design and development.
  • Strong grasp of data fundamentals, preferably with experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or other storage solutions.
  • Experience designing and developing cloud-native, event-driven microservices is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a flexible and dynamic environment.
