Job Description:

  • Drive large-scale data transformation initiatives, focusing on strategic design and effective delivery.
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and performance of cloud-based data solutions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure, aligning with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to implement efficient CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and robust secrets management.
  • Provide technical oversight across backend, infrastructure, and security streams, promoting best practices.
  • Advocate for zero trust, data minimization, and privacy by design principles within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of IT experience, including cloud integration and leadership roles in data platforms.
  • In-depth expertise with Azure Core Services, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL, with hands-on implementation.
  • Proven experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and modern DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Airflow, and cloud platform development, with a focus on innovation.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field, demonstrating academic excellence.
  • Understanding of the telecommunications domain is an asset, enabling better decision-making.
