Our client is at the forefront of innovation in the design and engineering industry. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Workplace Coordinator to join their team and contribute to the vibrant and engaging atmosphere that sets them apart. This is a full time permanent role based in Newcastle.
**Position Overview**:
As a Workplace Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the workplace remains a hub of productivity and positivity. You will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, providing exceptional service and support in a variety of areas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with diverse individuals, and takes pride in creating an outstanding workplace atmosphere.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and assist employees, clients, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
- Manage and coordinate office services, including but not limited to meeting room bookings, event coordination, and catering.
- Act as a liaison between employees and various departments to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure the office is well-maintained, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a customer service or admin role preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
