Embrace a meaningful role as an **Area Manager Team Leader **, where you will oversee a team while actively participating in the compassionate collection of pets for cremation. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll manage a small team of 4-7 Area Managers and set the standard in customer care and service excellence.

We proudly partner with both veterinarian practices and their clients to offer pet cremation services to grieving families with our expert teams guiding them every step of the way.
**Duties of an Area Manager Team Leader**:
- Carrying out pet collections from veterinary clinics, which entails handling deceased animals with respect and dignity (all pets are hygienically bagged and kept chilled)
- Collecting pets from owners' homes
- Returning pet ashes to clients at home and in veterinary clinics
- Thoroughly reviewing and accurately fulfilling system requirements with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensuring that vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards
- Navigating daily runs with efficiency aligned to the run requirements
**Leadership Duties**:
- Manage roster, and support the daily activities of your team
- Conduct regular performance reviews and probation reviews, providing guidance and feedback
- Hands on management - lead by example, actively participating in day-to-day operations to set the standard in service and care.

- Demonstrated experience in people management
- A passion for helping others at difficult times
- Compassion for animals and emotional intelligence
- Exceptional customer service skills, you're an effective and clear communicator
- Strong organisational skills and thrives working in a clean and tidy environment
- An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and compassionate manner
- Capable to lift pets of all sizes using safe lifting procedures. Requires ability to lift to 25kg
- Required to hold full driver's License with no restrictions
- Q fever vaccination required - provided in pre-employment
