Be part of shaping the establishment of Early Learning Victoria (ELV) and the design and delivery of the first ever Victorian Government owned and operated Early Learning and Childcare Centres.

**About Early Learning Victoria**

The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated, Early Learning and Childcare Centres, as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. These centres will offer childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and, where applicable, Pre-Prep. The first four centres have opened in Term 1 of 2025, with a further 14 centres due to open in 2026, and all 50 open by 2032. Early Learning Victoria has been set up as a new organisation within the Department of Education to establish and operate the centres.

**About the Role**

The responsibilities of the role will include:

- Supporting ELV centres with recruitment, HR and other business operational needs
- Ensuring appropriate oversight and quality control in relation to HR policy and compliance
- Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures
- Providing strategic advice and support to managers on workforce planning, recruitment best practices and staff retention strategies

**Attributes**
- Determine priorities and meet work demands in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines
- Develop guidelines and templates within the work area
- Make recommendations by interpreting and analysing recruitment trends and data

We are building a team of high performers with a passion for customer service excellence and are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruitment & Workforce Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a newly created role and a rare opportunity to contribute to the large program of work ahead to achieve this ambitious reform agenda.

**Qualifications and Experience**

Experience in recruitment within an early childhood education or government setting is desirable

Qualification in Human Resources or Early Childhood Education field is desirable

Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or related field is desirable
