Finance Transformation Executive

**About the Role**:
Join our Macquarie Capital Finance Transformation team in the Financial Management Group (FMG) supporting the Macquarie Capital business and work on an exciting range of initiatives to unlock the potential of our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, curious and enthusiastic individual. As a natural collaborator, you will work closely with the Finance Transformation lead to partner with Business, Data and Technology teams on key transformation and technology initiatives and play a pivotal role in brainstorming and refining solutions and driving outcomes.

**Your Key Responsibilities will include**:
You will play a key role in transformation initiatives which impact on the Finance teams supporting Macquarie Capital. This will include:

- **Project management** - **responsible for requirements gathering, design support, build, testing and implementation of proposed development changes with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and flagging issues/gaps
- **Finance impact assessments** - **utilise your background in Finance to identify downstream impacts of key initiatives on the wider Finance team and enable sign-off on changes through demonstrations & workshops
- **Requirements gathering & analysis** - **gather and communicate Finance, Tax and Regulatory Reporting requirements for consultation with Business and Technology teams. This may also include understanding and analysing data flows for MacCap products/services, including data flows both upstream and downstream of the General Ledger

**About you**:
To be successful in the role, you will bring with you demonstrated experience in Finance and a passion or change. As you will be delivering the Finance Transformation Strategy, you will be motivated to drive outcomes that will improve the day to day work of Finance teams and their stakeholders. Other skills and experience may include:

- Innovative and curious mindset with a passion for process improvement and the ability to identify opportunities that deliver efficiencies and add value
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong risk and control mindset
- Familiarity with Agile framework and tools used to manage workflow
