Key Focus Areas:

  • Finance Function Design and Implementation: Developing tailored operating models that harmonize with business maturity and strategic objectives.
  • Pre-Deal Finance Support (Buy Side): Facilitating buyers and investors in evaluating target finance functions, unlocking optimal value.
  • Pre-Deal Finance Support (Sell Side): Identifying opportunities to enhance sale value through diligent separation planning.
  • Post-Deal Finance Support (Buy-Side): Crafting and executing 100-day plans to seamlessly integrate finance functions into buyer entities or establish standalone entities.
  • Liquidity and Working Capital Optimisation: Analyzing working capital drivers and KPIs to establish baselines and quantify improvement opportunities.
  • Finance System Selection: Developing go-to-market strategies to support clients in identifying finance technologies and system integrator partners.
  • Finance Transformation: Supporting CFOs and transformation directors in leading enterprise-wide cost-out and transformation projects, driving organisational change and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Fostering and maintaining robust relationships with private equity and corporate clients, ensuring requirements are met and successful project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Risk Management: Proactively managing client expectations, identifying risks, and developing contingency plans.
  • Problem Solving and Driving Insights: Assessing critical issues, identifying paths forward, and challenging analyses for completeness and accuracy.
  • Value Creation and Performance Improvement: Identifying business improvement opportunities, developing actionable plans to realise them.
  • Business Development: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding our presence within existing accounts.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Over 8+ years of experience working across both industry and consulting, encompassing finance function and corporate settings.
  • Strong consulting skillset covering problem solving, financial analysis, solution development, and implementation to deliver value to clients.
  • Project management of consulting engagements from managing client relationships to managing our team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of finance functions, finance transformation, operating models, and the latest technology impacting finance.
  • Finance-related qualification, such as CA, CPA, CMA.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs.
