Here at AWS, you'll work with a talented & inclusive team while using leading cloud technologies to help our energy customers transform their business models, drive continuous innovation and accelerate their energy transition.AWS is looking for a business development and go-to-market leader who understands the business and technology trends impacting line of business activities within energy sector, and is passionate and capable of driving market development for AWS, leveraging the breadth and depth of the AWS cloud computing platform.
This role will be focused on increasing the reach of cloud computing across diverse stakeholders across the energy sector, and requires the industry background, strategic thinking, technical depth, and communication skills to further establish AWS as the leader in this space.
In this role, you will address rapidly changing customer needs, drive the right technology solutions, and enable the ecosystem of partners and start-ups.Key job responsibilitiesBeing a key part of a global team focusing on the energy sector and accountable for business development in ASEAN with a primary focus on MalaysiaDevelopment of go-to-market strategies and programs in ASEAN with a primary focus on MalaysiaEngage with key customers – bring insights and experience in solving technology challenges and creating opportunities for customers across the energy industry focus segmentsInteract with AWS business and technical stakeholders to develop greenfield scaling motions and go-to-market strategiesAttend and speak at industry events, lead the process to build repeatable industry solutions, creating significant new business opportunities for AWSWork closely with AWS sales teams and enable them to drive effective interactions with key lines-of-business prospects.Work closely with AWS marketing teams to develop and scale best-in-class, insight-led stories for the Energy industryWork closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the verticalWork closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption byBasic Qualifications7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience7+ years of professional or military experienceBachelor's degreeExperience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational levelPreferred QualificationsExperience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit ownerExperience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizationsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
