Here's what we're searching for professionally: Be able to work independently and as part of a team;Ability to take direction;Able to work at a fast pace and high turnover environment; andHigh energy, passionate with a strong work ethic.Here's what we're searching for as an individual: Previous experience as a sommelier; preferably a fine dining/wine venue;Completed Sommelier Australia accredited education program, such as the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and/or the Court of Master Sommeliers education programAn understanding of profit measures, the ability to manage costs and productivity, and the drive to exceed sales goals;A willingness to go above and beyond with an eagerness to grow personally and professionally;Have a big picture approach while ensuring the daily deliverables are being met;Availability for Monday-Sunday Shifts (hours are rotated depending on availability, between open, mid and closing shifts);Friendly, approachable, and believes the customer always comes first;Strive to execute efficient and flawless service every shift; andYou're someone who takes pride in yourself and your personal brand.Remuneration & Benefits:Rosters will be flexible and take into account your commitments outside of work;Access to meals on shift and other perks including discounts on merchandise, food and beverage items;Training and orientation on commencement; Career development; andScope to grow within our organization.Please attach a copy of your CV with your application.
