The Property Portfolio Underwriter role brings together activities from our market facing underwriting teams to help drive portfolio change and monitor strategic execution.

The role works closely alongside national underwriting teams, pricing and analytical functions to identify areas for improvements across the underwriting process and ensure key portfolio KPIs and deadlines are met.
- This individual contributor reports directly to the Head of Property, Marine and Technical Lines and takes ownership for UW governance and exposure management for the team and proactively supports the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights.- Important to your success - let's grow together- Bachelor's degree or Post-graduate qualifications
- Underwriting experience across disciplines (Property, Marine and/or technical lines preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven technical underwriting capability and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Track record of delivering change in a complex insurance environment.
- Proven ability to execute on strategic plans and company initiatives
- ANZII CIP member or equivalent experience
- Commercially astute with a comprehensive understanding of the General Insurance industry and the products available.
