To meet with increasing demands of our clinic, an exciting opportunity is available for a **full time Dental Receptionist **to be working at a dual specialist dental practice (Orthodontics and Special Needs) in Blackburn.

**About the position**
- Meet and greet patients, carers, guardians, and parents
- Manage all incoming phone calls for the practice
- Schedule patient appointments and perform follow-up communication
- Communicate bookings and patient needs with specialist dentists and other staff in the clinic
- Process payments, health insurance rebates and other claims
- Maintain patient records and other computer systems and databases
- Assist with the specialist dentists
- Working 9am - 5.30pm on Monday - Friday
- Start as soon as possible
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Passionate in providing a high level of care to our patients
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and responsible
- Capable of working in a team and is a team player
- Can work well unsupervised and be proactive
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Have good computer skills and willingness to learn
- Multilingual skill (i.e. being able to speak Mandarin) will be highly desirable as we have a lot of Chinese-speaking patients
- 1 year receptionist/customer service experience is preferred
