**About the role**

Here at RACQ Insurance we are looking for our next Recoveries Team Manager to join our fast-paced Claims division. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working from our Eight Mile Plains office. You will support the Operational Claims management leadership team with the implementation of the Claim Recoveries Management Strategy, drawing on your strong experience in recoveries management.

You will effectively manage priorities, create focus, and eliminate barriers to ensure the team achieve the right outcomes. In leading your Motor Claims team to success through team management, staff development and driving operational performance you will play a key part in developing strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and play a key role in identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives.

**About you**

We're looking for a proven leader who is effective, engaging and continuously fosters a positive culture. You will be passionate and adaptable, able to manage high pressure scenarios like bad weather events and changing environments. Ideally as an applicant for this role you will have:

- Strong people leadership and a proven ability to motivate and engage staff to increase performance and customer satisfaction
- At least 3-5 years recovery or debt management experience across the banking or finance sector (insurance experience highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities and relationships, eliminate roadblocks and create focus to achieve outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills across written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
