**About the company**
Our client a local council based in regional Victoria is looking for an organisational development officer to join their team. This is a fully remote, full-time role, working Monday - Friday. The contract is initially for 3 months but could be extended if the project timelines progress.
The main goal if this role is to develop a draft Aging Workforce Strategy in collaboration with the OD Officer who is reviewing/developing our Workforce Strategy and Succession Planning process.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Assess current data relating to an aging workforce to inform recommendations
- Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to determine progress on implementing initiatives/actions to address an aging workforce
- Develop a draft Aging Workforce Strategy in collaboration with the OD Officer who is reviewing/developing our Workforce Strategy and Succession Planning process
**You will have the following**:
- Background in organisational development, specifically workforce strategy / planning
- An understanding and/or working knowledge of the Gender Equality Act requirements for Local Government
- Experience working in a Local Government is highly desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with stakeholders
- Experience working in a compliance driven environment
- Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering on timelines
