Chief Organisational Development Officer

This leadership position involves spearheading the organisational development and culture program for a large, diverse city council in Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in organisational development, psychology or human resources, and experience in delivering contemporary OD practices.
They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Lead the design and delivery of organisational development programs, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, employee listening, recognition, talent development, and leadership forums.
- Drive culture initiatives using the Human Synergistics framework, translate insights into meaningful action, and create a thriving workplace.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives to support a safe, connected, and inclusive organisation.
Key responsibilities include coaching and guiding the OD team, partnering with People & Culture, and providing evidence-based advice and solutions.
Requirements- Relevant degree in organisational development, psychology, or human resources.
- Proven ability to deliver contemporary OD practices across different organisations.
- Experience in coaching and leading others, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in culture transformation, with an understanding of Human Synergistics tools being desirable.
