This role is dedicated to delivering high-quality data solutions, driving data governance initiatives, and leading technical teams to success.
The ability to understand both high-level strategic goals and low-level technical details makes this position an invaluable asset to the Data & AI team.We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in designing, developing, problem-solving, and deploying Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics & Data Migration solutions across various industry sectors for the Data & AI practice.
Practical experience in the use of AI tools to aid data migration activities would be an advantage.This role excels in complex data environments at different stages of maturity, leveraging a broad range of technologies to deliver strategic and technical solutions.
The position also requires the management of a small team of Business intelligence/migration data experts, building relationships with partners to understand their data quality, data management & AI offerings, and contributing data migration expertise to sales material, RFIs and tenders for DXC.Technical Skills:BI Strategy: Proficient in developing and implementing BI / Data strategies.Data Migration: Skilled in data migration processes and methodologies.Data Governance: Expertise in establishing data governance frameworks.Solution Design/Architecture: Strong capabilities in designing and architecting BI solutions.Data Warehousing/Architecture: Proficient in data warehousing concepts and architecture.Data Modelling: Skilled in creating logical and physical data models.Business Intelligence & Analytics: Extensive experience with BI tools and analytics platforms.Technologies:The successful candidate will need to have a broad range of Database / BI & Analytics / Data Management / Data Modelling / Data Migration – ETL tools, for example:Oracle/OBIEEMicrosoft BI ToolsBusiness ObjectsCognosTableauQlikViewPower BITeradataInformatica MDM / CDQ / CDI /CDGMMuleSoftIBM WebsphereCollibraAlexProfessional Experience:10+ years plus as a Consultant in Data, BI & Analytics, in a client facing role with the ability to manage a team of consultants and developers – previous experience managing a team would be highly regarded.Your working environmentIn alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.Our culture and benefitsDXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
