The Salvation Army Employment Plus is currently going through an exciting time as we prepare to commence the new Workforce Australia contract.

Due to our program's ongoing success and our need for expansion, we are looking for an Activity Coordinator to broker and monitor meaningful WFD activities for participants to gain skills and experience that give back to the community and can help them find sustainable employment.

About the role:
The purpose of this role is to focus on the Annual Activity Requirements (AAR) including Work for the Dole (WFD) establishing strategic partnerships with local not for profit, government and community service organisations to promote and drive the development of work-life activities for participants.

About you:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in building strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders creating positive ongoing business focused relationships
- You are a confident and trustworthy self-starter who thrives on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and problem solve
- The ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI's and targets
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
- Understanding and using data to drive performance ideally gained with some experience in a challenging government contract environment

A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for our positions. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
