A global blue chip life insurance brand is seeking an Operations Officer to join their Sydney business. This role is a 12-month contract where you will become part of their Operations Assurance team in a cross functional role. This organisation values work life balance so the team works 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Operations Assurance team is responsible for managing the arrangements in place with third party administrators and brand partners. As an Operations Officer you will work across a variety of functions to proactively support the relationship and performance of external service providers. You will hold a supporting role in the identification, reporting and monitoring of any trends, risks, issues, and opportunities, across internal and external stakeholders.

Your duties will include
- Compile and review monthly reports.
- Quality assurance call monitoring.
- Development and maintenance of process and procedure documentation.
- Provide administration support for the in-house insurance portfolio.
- Manage enquires from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with internal management to identify and drive new solutions for operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience
- Several years' experience in life insurance administration.
- Experience in quality assurance or similar.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Tertiary qualification would be desirable.
- Ability to interpret data and identify trends/potential issues and develop targets action plans.
