As a Mechanical Fitter & Turner, you will maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Woleebee Creek QLD.
We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team. You will report to the Northern supervisor while working on a key client's site providing maintenance work to ensure that our organisation remains the supplier of choice.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical seals and other rotating equipment and plant systems.
Personnel, plant, and environment safety is top priority and responsibility
Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor.
Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
Complete all required corresponding documentation to completed tasks.
Who are you?
Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment is important, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
Flexible and adaptable as the business requires, able to work under minimal supervison.
Computer literate: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS.
Knowledge of mechanical seals and condition monitoring advantageous.
