McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a hands-on Fitter and Turner to join the team in a full-time capacity at our workshop.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Conduct repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment;
- Perform general and intermediate machining of new components;
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate;
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment; and
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.

**Skills and Attributes required to be successful**:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter & Turner (trade qualified) is essential;
- General welding and light fabrication is highly regarded but not essential;
- Familiarity with trouble shooting and repairing machinery and equipment;
- Meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards;
- Problem solving and time management skills;
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment; and
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
