As a Mechanical Fitter & Turner, you will maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Woleebee Creek QLD.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team. You will report to the Northern supervisor while working on a key client's site providing maintenance work to ensure that our organisation remains the supplier of choice.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical seals and other rotating equipment and plant systems.
- Personnel, plant, and environment safety is top priority and responsibility
- Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor.
- Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
- Complete all required corresponding documentation to completed tasks.

Who are you?

- Demonstrated experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
- Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment is important, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
- Flexible and adaptable as the business requires, able to work under minimal supervison.
- Computer literate: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS.
- Knowledge of mechanical seals and condition monitoring advantageous.
