This role may suit someone that has previous work experience as a building surveyor, urban planner or a shire liaison for a building company. Your strengths include excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills. You have comprehensive knowledge of the Residential Design Codes of Western Australia and you are confident to make decisions working on your own and are consistent in your decision making.

To be considered for this role, you must have a WA "C" class drivers licence, a recognised planning qualification such as a Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate in Development Planning or similar, or a qualification appropriate under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011.

**What We Offer**

This position offers a salary of $99,138 per annum (pro rata). We value our employees and the City also offers:
