Globe 24-7 is currently working exclusively with their client to secure a Mine Manager. In this position you will play a crucial role in overseeing mine operational activities, supporting project deliverables, and leading a team towards operational excellence whilst reporting into the General Manager on site.

**In this role, you will**:

- Take responsibility of all mine operational activities.
- Lead the day-to-day operations teams driving production and performance with a strong collaborative style.
- Support the execution of mine operational deliverables.
- Manage the performance of the mining contractor to ensure delivery of critical safety and operational targets.
- Build flexible teams that embrace change through your strong leadership skills.
- Think strategically and act tactically, managing and negotiating stakeholder expectations.

**About You**:

- Must hold Queensland First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency for Underground Metalliferous Mines or have the ability to sit.
- Have proven leadership experience in complex environments.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing production targets.
- Significant Underground Mining experience.
- Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering, or similar qualification.
- Contractor and commercial management experience.
- Exposure across Mine Design and Planning.
- Extensive experience across mining production mine management.
- Strong financial exposure across cost control and budgeting.
