We are seeking an experienced Mine Operations Manager to join our team.

This is a key role that involves monitoring and managing mining equipment from a central control room, coordinating haulage, responding to system alerts and operational issues, maintaining communication with on-site personnel, ensuring production targets and using specialized software and control systems remotely.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Safety Management: A strong commitment to safety is essential for this role.
  • Fleet Management: You will be responsible for the operation of fleet management systems with multiple fleet types and targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Engaging with key stakeholders to enhance daily, weekly and monthly targets and strategies.
  • Administrative Tasks: Effective administration and information collating.
  • Policies Compliance: Complying with business fatigue management and drug and alcohol policies.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in mine operations control room environments or similar exposure in fleet or logistics environments.

You will also need to hold a current driver's license, have reliable transport and live within 45 minutes of the city location.
