Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced mine operations manager to oversee the daily activities of a mining site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling mining equipment from a central control room, coordinating haulage, responding to system alerts and operational issues, maintaining communication with on-site personnel, ensuring production targets, and using specialized software and control systems remotely.

About the Role:

  • Monitor and manage mining equipment from a central control room
  • Coordinate haulage and respond to system alerts and operational issues
  • Maintain communication with on-site personnel and ensure production targets
  • Use specialized software and control systems remotely

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in mine operations control room environment (Preferred), or similar exposure in fleet or logistics environments, or high-volume operational environments
  • Fleet Management System experience is advantageous
  • Understanding of service delivery and value chain impacts
  • Ability to multitask and identify risks
  • Efficient activation of emergency response and coordination or other high-pressure critical tasks
  • Continuous improvement and collaborative mindset
  • Hold a current driver's license and have reliable transportation
