Our client is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage their accounts payable and receivable processes as the primary onshore resource. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth running of invoice processing and financial transactions. The position is based in either Brisbane or Canberra, starting as soon as possible and running through to the end of January 2025. Some work will be required during our Christmas shutdown period.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices accurately and efficiently to maintain smooth accounts payable operations.
- Manage accounts receivable by ensuring timely collection and reconciling payments.
- Serve as the primary onshore resource for AP/AR functions.
- Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or issues in AP/AR.
- Provide regular reports on accounts payable and receivable status.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
- Some experience with SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints, especially during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

** Australian Citizenship and AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required. **
