About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Draftsman to join our detailing team on a full-time basis.
This position is integral to delivering high-quality, accurate drawings and models for steel fabrication projects.
The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and practical knowledge of shed and carport construction, ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standard.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret construction drawings and specifications to produce precise shop drawings for steel fabricationDevelop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering requirementsProvide technical input to support project quoting and estimatingManage drawing revisions and document control within established systemsCollaborate with the engineering and detailing team to resolve complex design challengesApply industry knowledge of shed and carport components to deliver practical, cost-effective solutionsSkills and ExperienceCurrent residency in Australia with unrestricted working rightsDemonstrated experience in drafting using CAD softwareRelevant engineering or technical qualificationsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressureEffective written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordProven experience in shed and carport design and fabricationAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional team environmentWhy Join Us?
