efm Warehousing are currently searching for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our growing team at the growing Altona Site.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager you will be responsible for daily operations of a dedicated team of up to 10-15 employees, ensuring all team members work efficiently and effectively, providing a high-quality service delivery to our "A"-list retail clients. This is a hands-on role working in a high energy and fast paced environment.

**Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Lead warehouse staff by setting the standard in performance of duties and tasks
- Participate in distribution planning and resource management.
- Ensuring that all orders are picked and put away accurately in a safe and timely manner
- Manage warehouse workflow ensuring all customer's expectations are met - achieve team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintaining a safety-first operation and adhering to all WHS requirements.
- Monitoring internal stock movements
- Ensure the warehouse and storage sites are clean, tidy, and maintained.
- Drive team culture and empower your team to be the best they can be.

**To be successful in this position, you will possess**:

- Previous experience in within a fast-paced warehousing environment. 3PL experience is highly advantageous.
- Lead by example - demonstrated experience leading, coaching and managing a team within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- A current forklift Licence (LF) is desired but not essential.
- A great work ethic, combined with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Effective communication, problem solving skills and a forward-thinking mind-set.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace
